PM visits Saudi Arabia soon

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to visit Saudi Arabia soon.

During his visit to the country, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali proposed that Hasina may go there at an early date preferably in between March and May, his ministry said in a press release yesterday.

Welcoming the visit, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir said relations between the two brotherly countries has been an excellent one for many years. He also said Saudi king Salman bin Abdulaziz would be “more than happy” to receive Hasina.

The Bangladesh foreign minister has just paid an official visit to Saudi Arabia on January 5-7 at the invitation of his Saudi counterpart.
