Members of the Counter Terrorism (CT) unit of the Chattogram Metropolitan Police and Rab caught Siddiqur Rahman in Agrabad area following a tip-off, said Md Shahidullah, deputy commissioner of CMP CT unit.
“The officials stopped him while he was riding a motorcycle in plainclothes at CGS colony around 7:30pm,” said the DC.
He said the contraband methamphetamine-based pills were being carried inside a bag that police found after searching the motorcycle.
Further drives were on in the area based on information gleaned from Siddiqur, said the officer.
