Ex-Jubo Dal leader stabbed to death in Jhenidah

Unidentified criminals stabbed Minto Hossain, former pro-BNP Jubo Dal organising secretary of Barobazar union, to death in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenidah yesterday.

Minto, 31, was the owner of a fish farm in Andulpota village in Kaliganj.

Locals and police said around 2:00pm yesterday unidentified criminals entered his fish enclosure and attacked him with sharp weapons.

They slit his throat for good measure before leaving the scene.

The victim's relative and Jubo Dal acting secretary Mozaffar Hosain said Minto was just a fish farmer.
