“Shore O” on ntv

Marking International Mother Language Day, ntv will air a special single-episode play titled “Shore O”. Scripted and directed by Ferdous Hasan, the main cast includes Emon, Sumaiya Shimu, Dilara Zaman, Ziaul Hasan Kislu, Shajahan Ali Shaju, and more.

The narrative focuses on a retired school teacher named Shaju, who donates his pension to the local library for acquiring new books. His life takes a troubling turn when his daughter, Pakhi, is divorced and sent home by her husband. Sent into despair and depression, Shaju is taken to a renowned doctor named Hasan by his ex-student Mamun. Dr. Hasan's daughter Rishi is research associate in cancer studies in USA, and over time, a connection forms between her and Shaju.
