Durga Puja specials on Duronto Television

Duronto Television will broadcast special programmes to celebrate Durga Puja from today till October 8. 

The show, Aloy Bhubon Bhora, will be hosted by prominent actor, researcher and writer Jayanta Chattopadhyay. It is directed by Monirul Hossain Shipon and will be aired at 9:30 pm tonight. Many interesting stories about Hinduism will be presented on the show, with an aim to teach children ethical values such as honesty, tolerance and respect.

Several dancers from the institute Kolpotoru, including Rudmila Priyonti Chowdhury, Nohali Islam Sreya, Sumaiya Akter Shobha, Amira Mahmud, Anudiya Anubh, Abeya Akond, Modhurima Roy and others, will participate in Mongolalokey, a special dance programme. It will be aired at 9:30 pm tomorrow.

A special Durga Puja episode of Ronger Khelay Shurer Bhelay, titled, Ronger Khelay Shurer Bhelay Pujar Melay, will be aired on Monday at 9:30 pm. The three aunts on the show, Debolina Sur, Champa Banik and Abida Sultana will sing together in this special episode under the direction of Partho Pratim Haldar and Jamal Hossain Abir. 

Shubho Bijoya, a show that will present the history of Hinduism in the form of stories, will be aired on Tuesday at 9:30 pm. The show is directed by Partho Pratim Haldar. It will be anchored by Bhashkor Bangopadhyay, along with child actors Barnomala, Kotha and Shomridha. They will be visiting several temples and participating in the Puja celebrations.
