Celebrating Tahsan with five melodious tracks
They say that ageing is inevitable; well, someone forgot to tell that to Tahsan Khan. The singer has been a prominent name the music industry for well over a decade, successfully crossing over to the television industry to become a household name. Today is his birthday, and we celebrate 'Tahsan Day' with five of his timeless compositions!
KOTO DUR – Written by Minar and composed by Sajid Sarker, Koto Dur is one of Tahsan's most underrated songs. The lyrics and composition, in tandem with the singer's emotional delivery makes it a perfect addition to your playlist, if you're feeling particularly melancholy.
EKHONO – One of his first hits, Ekhono was one of the songs that propelled alt-rock band Black to greater fame when it first came out. The power ballad has aged incredibly well, and remains testament to Tahsan's incredible vocal range.
IRSHA – Essentially the ultimate break-up song. No broken lover's playlist is complete without Irsha.
PREMATAL – A blockbuster hit which arguably earned Tahsan the tag of a 'romantic' singer. Prematal is also included in the list to remind you that this song is not titled 'Bindu', contrary to popular opinion.
ALO – Alo, contradictory to its title, lit up the lives of the youth when it released. It comfortably sits at the pinnacle of Bangla romantic pop music.
