Bhabna continues the small-screen grind
Popular TV actor Bhabna has already hit the sets for upcoming Eid ventures. The busy artiste showcased her affinity for writing earlier this year, with the release of her debut novel, and appeared in a film venture last year. But for now, Bhabna is sticking to familiar terrains, and where have appreciated her the most.
The actor is working alongside director Sagor Jahan in a six-episode TV play titled “Dhulo Baburchi”. Paired up with Zahid Hassan, shooting for the miniseries has commenced in Pubail.
On the other hand, Zahid and Bhabna have also wrapped up filming for “Megh Peon' er Chithi”, helmed by Sohel Rana Imon.
Bhabna will appear in the Animesh Aich-directed “Gift” this Eid. Paired alongside Shajal, shooting for the single-episode play has already been completed.
Bhabna's novel, released earlier in the year, has already been picked up by director Animesh Aich to be adapted as a tele-film. Bhabna will play the protagonist, named Gulnahar.
On May 2, the actor will fly to Bangkok to film for two six-episode plays. One is helmed by Islam Rajib, while the second venture will be directed by Abu Hayat Mahmud.
When pressed for comments regarding her recent work, the artiste stated, “Each play is distinct in its narrative, but in 'Dhulo Baburchi' I portray a comical character who always dreams of going to Saudi Arabia for work. I am mostly busy with Eid ventures now, and the overall experience has been very enjoyable. I look forward to doing even more.”
