Priyanka Chopra wants to be Bond

Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra now creating her foothold in Hollywood can’t seem to take a break from the headlines! Be it for her show Quantico, or her role in the new Baywatch movie Piggy Chops is turning heads everywhere she goes. After her gender swapped role in Baywatch she has now expressed her wish to not settle for the title of ‘Bond girl’ but to play James Bond herself.

When asked in a new cover story for Complex magazine if she would play the next Bond girl, she had the best comeback: “I get that all the time. But f--k that — I wanna be Bond.” Priyanka then slayed it all over again with a sexy photoshoot for the magazine’s cover.

Priyanka is seen dressed in a sheer bodysuit with cut outs on the cover, as she lay down on a bed of colourful cash. For her fans who are still are talking about her red carpet appearance at the Billboard Music Awards, this comes as a double bonanza, reports Hindustan Times.

Talking about fighting racial stereotypes in America, she said in the interview, “I was very sure I did not want to be the stereotype of what Indian people are seen as, which is Bollywood, and henna. That’s all great! It’s what we are, and I love it. I love saris; I love music; I love henna; I love dancing, but that’s not all we are.”

The actor, who has become the face of diversity on American TV with her starring role in Quantico, added, “I wanted to be seen as just an actor, not because of my ethnicity or where I come from. I think global entertainment needs to become like that. It needs to be about the best person for the job rather than what you look like or where you come from. And I wanted to be one of the first people to take a step in that direction.”
