‘Shurer Badhoney’ to be hosted by Star Melodies Sept 28

A musical evening titled ‘Shurer Badhoney’ will be hosted by Star Melodies which is an initiative of The Daily Star on September 28.

The musical evening will feature songs by the legendary composer Kamol Dasgupta; Suur Shamraggni Firoza Begum; eminent composer and lyricist M Asafuddowlah and Subol Dasgupta.

Noted singers Yaqub Ali Khan, Nasima Shaheen, Bijon Mistri, Chhanda Chakraborty, Shushmita Anis and students of Govt Music College will perform at the even at 6:30pm.

The chief of the Culture Initiatives of The Daily Star, Sadya Afreen Mallick, will host and coordinate the programme at The Daily Star Centre (64-65, Kazi Nazrul Islam Avenue), which is open for all.
