S A Haque Olike's latest film venture

A director by profession, S A Haque Olike is a man of many talents. He was the Joint Secretary General of Chalachitra Parichalak Samiti and is currently the General Secretary of Directors' Guild. Apart from scripting films, he is a playwright as well as a lyricist.

Olike has earned a reputation as a successful director both in tele-fictions as well as films. His first helmed feature film Hridoyer Kotha, starring Purnima and Riaz, was a huge success. Renowned musician Habib Wahid composed a few tracks for the film which are popular to this day. Olike's second project was Akash Chhoa Bhalobasha, for which he won the Meril Prothom Alo Puroshkar in the Best Popular Category. His last film was Aro Bhalobashbo Tomay, in which Shakib Khan paired with Purnima. Currently, heavy preparations are underway for Olike's fifth directorial film venture, for which he has written the script as well. He is rather enthusiastic about his new project which was made based on popular demand. The cast is yet to be announced.
