Concert for Tuhin to be held on February 5

To support Shahadat Parvez Tuhin, the co-ordinator of the music band Heart Relations (HRB) who has been sick for a while, Musicians for Humanity is organising a charitable concert titled 'Musicians for Life' on February 5. The line-up of the concert is Super Surprise Act, Black, Arbovirus, Avoid Rafa, Mechanix, and Trainwreck.
Tuhin had a bone marrow transplant four months ago. He has been suffering from blood deficiency for about six weeks now. To improve his condition, the doctors have suggested 5 doses of Immunoglobulin (IVIG), each dosage worth BDT 2 lakh. After the first phase, Tuhin might have to go for 5 more doses if his condition deteriorates. The whole treatment process requires a total of BDT 20 lakh and that's what Musicians for Humanity aims to collect from this concert.
"We want to stand by the musicians of our country in critical moments of our life. The audience is our inspiration and our efforts will not go in vain if join us at this time," said Aftabuzzaman Tridib, one of the conveners of 'Musicians for Humanity' and vocalist of Mechanix Band. "If we all come forward humanely and socially, then people will find the justification for the phrase 'Manush Manusher Jonno' and our initiative will also be successful."
