Mim preps for DURGA PUJA

Like every year, Lux Channel i Superstar Bidya Sinha Mim plans to take a break from her busy schedule to celebrate Durga Puja. She talks about what she is looking forward to for the festival, her current engagements and more. 

Where do you plan to celebrate Durga Puja this year?

I plan to visit my grandparents' place in Bagerhat on Ashtami and I will be staying there till Dashami. Bagerhat has one of the largest Puja mandaps in the country and I cannot wait to be a part of the celebration.

Tell us about your childhood memories of Puja.

I still remember the days I spent at my uncle's house in Rajshahi during Puja. My family members and relatives would all come together to my mama's (uncle) place and we would have a great time. Our days in Rajshahi were filled with laughter and joy.

Any message for your fans on this special occasion?

I want nothing more than their blessings. Their love and blessings inspire me to work harder. I have a special tele-fiction coming up soon, which I believe is my gift to them for Puja.

Any recent projects you are working on?

I will start shooting for the film Shaap Ludo, directed by Golam Sohrab Dodul by the end of this month. Arifin Shuvoo is my co-star in the film.
