Dinat Jahan Munni's quick iftar tips

Dinat Jahan Munni won her first national-level award for singing in 1985, and over the decades, has established herself as a singer, and later as a TV host. The persona she created over this period of time through her magical voice has won the heart of many people. The artiste recently spoke to this correspondent regarding iftar.
“The Holy month of Ramadan is bliss. It is a joy for all of us. It's just not only about the month; it's also about how we perform our prayers to the Almighty.
“During the time of iftar, I keep in mind how to keep the food as healthy as possible. Of course, there are conventional food like, bora, beguni, chhola and lots of fruits. The foods I always keep on the table for iftar are mainly mango, banana, yogurt, and cucumber. These are very healthy and give lot of energy especially after a long day of fasting.”
“Since I have children and they are at their growing stage, I make special items. I try my best to avoid deep fried food, so I prefer to have cereals during the iftar time.
Here is a quick iftar recipe, for a custard cream yogurt. Take:
* 1 cup of full cream
* 1 table spoon yogurt
* Little bit of sugar
* Fresh or canned fruit
Blend the full cream and yogurt together along with the sugar. Then add the fruit. You can add different kinds of fruits as well.
