Catching up with Tanjin Tisha
Tanjin Tisha has become a familiar face in the modeling scene and TV plays in recent years. As her popularity continues to grow, Tisha has been increasingly busy with new projects and offers. In a recent interview with The Daily Star, the artiste speaks about her endeavours, and more.
You're a very busy actor these days. What is the key in finding a work-life balance?
Tisha: I have a very positive outlook; I am just as busy as a model. If you don't love what you do, it is very difficult to be good at your job. The showbiz world is a home, and its members are family. I am very proud and lucky to be a part of this family.
One of the challenges of being such a popular celebrity is being recognized wherever you go. How does it feel to have fans approach you for selfies and autographs?
Tisha: I find all of that quite wonderful. None of this would have happened if they didn't love my work, and the attention goes to show that all the effort I put into my career is paying off.
What are you currently busy with?
Tisha: I am mostly occupied with acting these days. I just appeared in a single-episode play which aired on Pahela Baishakh. A few days ago, I traveled to Nepal for filming, and very soon I will start working on Eid ventures as well.
Do you have a favourite co-star?
Tisha: I can't really single anyone out, because it's the director's wish which actor should pair up with whom. There are many people I've enjoyed working alongside with, and an understanding grows with a person once you begin working and spending time with them.
Would you like to work on the big screen some day?
Tisha: It is every actor's dream to see themselves on the silver screen, but I will only agree to an offer if the script and role appeals to me.
Out of all the roles you have played, which has been your favorite?
Tisha: There are many. There are a few characters from well known Bangla literature that I've always wanted to portray as well.
Where do you enjoy traveling?
Tisha: I love to travel in general, and it usually doesn't matter where as long as it's beautiful. I always take off whenever I get some time off.
