Even after gaining much popularity in the film arena, Purnima later shifted her focus away from cinema towards acting in telefictions, modeling and hosting. After a long hiatus, the charming actor will once again embrace her roots in the industry. She is all set to star in her latest film titled 'Jam'.
“I was patiently waiting for something good to come by, and I'm rather hopeful about this new project. So, I have already signed up for this film”, Purnima told The Daily Star. She was also excited about the fact that Jam will be produced by the late actor Manna's production house, under the Kritanjali Films banner. After the actor's demise, the company was no longer active, but now it decided to resurrect its operations with Jam. The film will be directed by Noim Imtiaz Neyamul where Purnima will portray the role of a dancer. “I don't want to give out any spoilers now as it will ruin the surprise that is in store for the viewers,” added an enthusiastic Purnima. The National Film Award winner is also expected to work in another film titled Gangchil, where she will be seen opposite Ferdous.
