In a reshuffle to the administration, the government today transferred three secretaries.   
Expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment secretary Dr Khandaker Shawkat Hossain has been made director general of the planning and development academy.
Khandaker Md Iftekhar Haider, rector of the Bangladesh Public Administration Training Centre (BPATC) in Savar, has been appointed as the secretary to the expatriates’ welfare and overseas employment ministry.  
AKM Abdul Awal Majumder, managing director to the planning and development academy, has been made rector of the BPATC.
Meanwhile, Bijon Lal Dev, deputy press secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), has been appointed as the first secretary (press) to the Bangladesh Permanent Mission in New York.
The public administration ministry published separate gazette notifications in this regard today.
