20 bureaucrats get new posting

In a civil administration reshuffle, the government today gave new posting to 20 senior officials of different ministries and divisions.
Among the officials, six are additional secretaries and others joint secretaries. Separate gazettes were published in this regard.
Among the additional secretaries, Abdul Kuddus, who was on Officer on Special Duty (OSD), was made executive director of Bangladesh Climate Change Trust and Mohammad Iqbal, director general of National Institute of Population Research and Training, was made chairman of BCIC.
Shama Pada Dey, who had earlier been made OSD, got the charge of director general of Jatiya Muktijoddha Council and Power Division Additional Secretary Taposh Kumar Roy was made the chairman of Sustainable and Renewable Energy Development Authority.
Among others, Expatriate Welfare Ministry’s Additional Secretary Mohammad Alamgir has been made director general of Primary Education Directorate and Khandaker Akhtaruzzaman, member of Bangladesh Export Processing Zones Authority, was made chairman of National Housing Authority.
