Criminals last night shot two employees of a cable service provider in the capital's Bhatara area.
Sabuj Saha, 30, manager of Sky Links Cable Network, and peon Mohammad Parvez, 25, were undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
Sabuj received two bullets in the left leg, while Parvez sustained one in the right leg.
The injured told reporters at DMCH that three people had entered their office on the second floor of a three-storey building at Khilbarirtak around 9:30pm, and looked for Manik, previous manager of the organisation.   
Not finding him, the criminals locked into an altercation with the duo, and at one stage shot them, they added.
The reason could not be known immediately, said Mohammad Ali, officer-in-charge of Bhatara Police Station.
