2 JMB men held separately in Narayanganj, Cumilla

Rapid Action Battalion claimed to have detained two alleged active members of banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Narayanganj and Cumilla.
The arrestees are Tawhidul Islam alias Jihadi Tamanna, 24, and Arafat Hossain Sajal, 20, said Md Suminur Rahman, senior assistant director of Rab-11 in a press release, reports our Narayanganj correspondent.
Tawhidul was detained from Bhandarpur area of Narayanganj Sadar upazila and Arafat from Goalmari of Cumilla after conducting drives from 5:00pm to 10:00pm yesterday, said the Rab official.
During primary interrogation, the two admitted that they have been conducting various activities including fund collection, setting new plans, and holding secret meetings for sabotage activities through other JMB members in different parts of the country virtually.
The arrestees were also trying to inspire educated youths into extremist ideology using various apps, added the Rab official.
