10 reasons why one shouldn't fall in love

Falling in love is an easy task. One might fall in love with a lot of people over the course of time. What is the real deal - is continuing to be in love. And that, for a lot of people, is a huge task.

In the work-dominated lives of the 21st century, people hardly have the inclination to fall in love.

1. Falling in love usually ends in the alteration of your priorities. For the initial few days, when everything is hunky dory, it will not take a toll on the other aspects of your life. However, after a point of time, you find your priorities seriously messed up.

2. You can hang out with your friends for as long as you want to without thinking about one particular person. When in love, the time we spend with our friends decreases in leaps and bounds. And when you can have so much fun with your women, why bother falling in love!

3. You can flirt open-heartedly. You will not need to face jibes about your roving eye...you can lech at whoever you wnat to.

4. No commitment troubles. Not being in love cuts a lot of trouble out of your life. You don't need to worry about being faithful to one person.

5. You can stay out for as long as you want to. If you're in love, and you live with (or away from) your partner, there will be a deadline that you'll need to adhere to. You cannot just stay out all night if you want to - either your guilt or his incessant calls will drag you back home.

6. If you're in love, you'll want to spend at least some nights with your boyfriend. And sharing a bed with a guy is not every woman's cup of tea. Imagine, when sleeping alone, you can fall asleep on one corner of the bed and wake up on another. No such luck when you have someone else in bed.

7. You can dream about your perfect Prince Charming for as long as you want to if you don't have one in your life already. You can ruffle up every kind of fantasy in your mind without the worry of your boyfriend being able to match up to it...you don't have one!

8. Every couple spends a lot of time fighting with each other. And not only is that harmful for themselves, it is an exorbitant waste of time and energy, too. Imagine, the time you spend fighting with your guy could actually be put to better use while shopping, for example.

9. No cap on your shopping. When you're in a relationship, somehow, even if it is your own credit card that you're using to buy that pair of Manolo Blahniks, you end up sharing the news with your guy. And yes, when you're met with those wide-eyed stares, all you want to do is go back to being single.

10. If you're not in a relationship to begin with, you don't need to go through the pain of a break-up. Not every love story lasts forever; and it is safe to assume that your relationship will last shorter than your favourite pair of Chanel boots. Hence, choose the latter instead of the guy!
