1 dies, 3 get hurt in gas inhalation

A worker was killed and three others were injured inhaling gas while working on a ship at Chittagong port yesterday.

The deceased, Mahbub Hossain, 28, hailed from Jhalakathi. The identity of the injured could not be known immediately. 

The ship was moored at No-8 jetty, said Nayek Hamidur Rahman of CMCH Police Camp.

They were rushed to Chittagong Medical College Hospital where on-duty doctor declared him Mahbub dead around 9:00pm.
