No meeting between Modi, Imran Khan at SCO summit in Bishkek

India today said there is no bilateral meeting planned between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistan counterpart Imran Khan on the sideline of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
"To the best of my knowledge, no meeting has been planned between PM Modi and Pakistan PM Imran Khan," said Raveesh Kumar, spokesperson of Indian External Affairs Ministry.
A summit of the security-driven grouping Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) will be held in Bishkek on June 13-14.
The SCO member-countries are China, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, India and Pakistan.
The speculations about the possibility of a meeting between Modi and Khan swirled following the presence of Pakistan Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood on a "private" visit to New Delhi, reports our New Delhi correspondent.
Mahmood, who became Foreign Secretary on his return from Delhi after serving as Pakistan High Commissioner to India, offered Eid namaz at the Jama Masjid in New Delhi yesterday. He came to the Indian capital to take back his family who had stayed on for some time.
