Bangladesh condoles with victims of Kerala plane crash
Bangladesh today expressed deep condolences over the loss of lives in the plane crash in Kozhikode, India, and conveyed its sympathies to the families of the deceased.
In a letter written to his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar, Bangladesh Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen prayed for strength to the bereaved families and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
Meanwhile, Bangladesh's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Shariar Alam today spoke to his Indian counterpart V Muraleedharan and conveyed the condolences of the people.
The government of Bangladesh also inquired about the victims of the incident, the Bangladesh High Commission in New Delhi said in a statement tonight.
Alam also took the opportunity to discuss with Muraleedharan bilateral issues and reiterated Bangladesh's pledge to take forward the existing relationship between the two countries.
