Valorant will monitor voice chats from July
Riot Games, the developers of the popular online FPS game Valorant, have revealed that they will record and evaluate in-game voice communications in Valorant, as a part of their effort to reduce disruptive behaviour.
Riot Games recently updated its Privacy Notice and Terms of Service to introduce this in-game monitoring feature.
Initially, Riot Games will commence the background evaluation of the recorded in-game voice communications on the 13th of July among English-speaking players in the North American region.
Riot Games has been introducing different ways to regulate disruptive behaviour that takes place through its platforms. The voice monitoring update is the latest initiative by the popular game developer.
