Bangladeshi collector Mohammed Monirul Islam won a gold medal at IBRA 2023, World Stamp Exhibition held at Essen, Germany between 25 May 2023 and 28 May 2023. This is the first time that a Bangladeshi philatelist has won such an accolade at an exhibition held under the patronage of FIP, Fédération Internationale de Philatélie.
