Grand closing ceremony of ‘Talent Transition 2020’ held online
Evolution 360 hosted an online competition, 'Talent Transition 2020', where youths from across the country participated to showcase their talents. Co-hosted by Canadian University of Bangladesh, the official closing ceremony of the competition was held on July 12.
Professor Dr Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam, Vice Chancellor, Canadian University of Bangladesh, Faruque Hossain, Former Secretary of the Government, Shah Ali Forhad, Special Assistant, Prime Minister's Office and Dr Faruk Hossain, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Education were present as guests of honor at the event. Arifuzzaman, certified trainer in emotional intelligence, Head of Business School, Canadian University of Bangladesh was also present as the special guest.
Founder President of Evolution360 announced the names of the 10 winners of 5 different segments. Participated by more than 3000 audiences online, the formal session was followed by a cultural session including singing, dancing, recitation, and a unique segment of Beatboxing.
"By organising events like Talent Transition 2020, at the age of 4th industrial revolution mixing technology with skills Evolution360 is working as a medium of revolution by creating awareness for change, and that's why we're truly proud," shared Professor Dr Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam. Arifuzzaman, trainer in Emotional intelligence stressed on developing the emotional quotient of youth for national development.
Established in 2016, Evolution360 is replicating the #HeForShe campaign, creating national and international volunteering and skill-development opportunities for youth both locally and internationally. Along with multiple awards from UNV, UN Women, and UNDP, Evolution360 has also received the International Arch of Europe Award in Gold Category as the only youth organization from Bangladesh, at Frankford, Germany, in 2018.
"Instead of preparing the world for our youth, we should prepare the youth for post-pandemic world," expresses Upoma Ahmad, Founder President of Evolution360.
