Coco Chanel

Famed fashion designer Coco Chanel, born Gabrielle Bonheur Chanel in Saumur, France ruled Parisian haute couture for almost six decades. She introduced the trademark Chanel suit with collarless jacket and well fitted skirt and her little black dresses and also many other timeless designs that are still popular today.
She is considered a revolutionary style icon who did not hesitate to borrow elements of men's wear and incorporate them in her designs. For her own outfits, she always preferred creating looks that feel both simple and paired with several strands of pearls.
