Edible oil prices spiralling out of control

The price of edible oil does not seem to be coming under control, try as one may. Importers attribute the increase in the price of edible oil on the global market to a number of factors.

The commodity has been offered at increased costs for the last month, following repeated price increases this year. The Daily Star released a report by Mohammad Sumon that explored the reasons for the rising price of edible oil.
