Fungal outbreak devastates Savar rose village

An area in Savar has earned the name "Golapgram" (rose village). Even though the area boasted of rose gardens just last season, today it is filled with rows upon rows of dead blooms. An unexpected attack of fungus has once again put the rose growers of Savar at a loss, before they could recover from the pandemic.
