Tamim and co help out Kajol’s family
Bangladesh pacer Rubel Hossain informed through a Facebook post today that a number of Bangladesh national team players, inspired by ODI skipper Tamim Iqbal, provided monetary help to the family of cricketer Reazul Islam Kajol, who died after suffering a stroke on Wednesday night at the age of 32.
"The Bangladesh national team stood by the family of cricketer Kajol. Tamim Iqbal inspired us in this wise initiative. It is because of his initiative that we helped out Kajol's family from our fund allocated for helping the needy people during this coronavirus crisis," read Rubel's post.
Rubel also mentioned that Tamim, who came to know about Kajol's demise from an earlier Facebook post of Rubel, immediately enquired about Kajol's family. After knowing that Kajol, the sole earner of his family, has left behind a four-year-old and a helpless wife, Tamim immediately decided to help out the deceased's family.
Kajol, who suddenly fell sick, died on his way to the Khulna hospital yesterday.
