Pakistan beat Bangladesh in the Emerging Teams Asia Cup final
Bangladesh Emerging team suffered a 77-run defeat at the hands of their Pakistani counterpart in the final of the ACC Emerging Asia Cup at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur today.
After being asked to bat, Pakistan posted a mammoth 301 for six, courtesy of a 111-ball 113 from Rohail Nazir. Sumon Khan was the best bowler for Bangladesh, returning figures of three for 75.
Following the exchange, Bangladesh could only manage to score 224 runs in 43.3 overs before being bundled out. All-rounder Afif Hossain scored a team high of 53-ball 49.
