Uncut Gems

Uncut Gems is a thriller film, following the life of a jeweller, who has to balance his family and career, while drowning in debt because of his gambling addiction, and is always on the lookout for a big win. It was directed by Josh and Benny Safdie, distributed by A24 and Netflix, and stars Adam Sandler, Julia Fox and Idina Menzel, among others. It was released on December 13, 2019 in theatres.

Darbar

Darbar is a Tamil language action thriller film. It has been directed by A. R. Murugadoss, produced by Allirajah Subaskaran, under the banner of Lyca Productions, and stars Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, and Sunil Shetty, among others. It revolves around the life of a policeman investigating a few murder cases. It was released on January 9, 2020.

DRACULA

Dracula is a drama-horror television series on Netflix, which has been based on the eponymous novel by Bram Stoker. It has been created by Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat, produced by Sue Vertue, and stars Claes Bang, Dolly Wells, and John Heffernan, among others. The series takes place in Transylvania in 1897, and follows the plans of a vampire, waiting to conquer the world. It was originally released on January 1, 2020.

 

The Gentlemen

The Gentlemen is an action film, first released on December 3, 2019. It was written and directed by Guy Ritchie, produced by Ritchie himself, along with, Ivan Atkinson and Bill Block, under the banner of Miramax, and stars Matthew McConaughey, Charlie Hunnam and Henry Golding, among others. The plot follows the life of a businessman with a marijuana empire, and the things he has to face when word gets out that he wants to sell the business off.

1917

1917 is a war film, directed by Sam Mendes, written by both Mendes and Krysty Wilson-Cairns, distributed by Universal Pictures, and stars George MacKay, Dean-Charles Chapman and Mark Strong, among others. The storyline is set during WWI, and follows a dangerous mission of delivering a message inside an enemy territory, given to two British soldiers. It was first released on December 4, 2019.
