PLOT: "John Wick: Chapter 2" is the sequel of the widely-celebrated action movie "John Wick". The sequel returns with a bigger and better bad-to-the-bone John Wick (Keanu Reeves) who simply surpassed himself better than the last one. The movie begins with John Wick breaking into the Russian mob's garage to get his car back and in the process, ends up killing all the goons that came for him. John is soon visited by another assassin named Santino D'Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio) who asks John to kill his own sister. After a series of twisted events, Santino puts a bounty on John that goes out to each and every underground assassin in the area. This results in a nerve wrecking altercation between John and all the assassins that tries to kill him. Safe to say, John Wick being John Wick, manages to get out of the most impossible situation in a beastly and inhumane manner that will keep the audience asking for more.
REVIEW: "John Wick: Chapter 2" delivers exactly what many action movies fail to do; displaying a seductive bloodthirsty vengeance of the protagonist going all-out against his nemesis in a series of action-packed copper-fueled gunfight with a touch of martial arts. The sound of bones cracking as Keanu takes on the villains will surely quench the audience's inner thirst for violence. Keanu Reeves, as usual, puts out a very strong and cold act that fits the character extremely well. One can say that no one could have played John Wick better than Keanu Reeves. Compared to the massive scales of CGI-infested blockbusters, "John Wick: Chapter 2" offers more cohesive dosages of brutal ecstasies. The movie is a fuel for action junkie audiences. Furthermore, the movie leaves behind many premises that might indicate the possibility of future installments.
