TV's Batman Adam West Passes Away

This week is a sad time for all the superhero fans as the Batman of the 60s, Adam West, passed away. He was 88. The family released a statement saying that he died after having a brave battle with leukemia. “He was a beloved father, husband, grandfather, and great-grandfather,” they said. “There are no words to describe how much we'll miss him. We know you'll miss him too and we want you to know how much your love and support meant to him throughout the years. Hug your loved ones today”, stated the West Family. Adam West made his acting debut in the 50s before he was cast in his breakout role as Batman in the legendary TV series. He then went on to act in The New Adventures of Batman, the animated shows Super Friends: The Legendary Super Powers Show and The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians, as well as last year's Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders and the upcoming Batman vs. Two-Face. We mourn the loss of such an amazing actor.
