Riteish Deshmukh to Star in Nishikant Kamal's upcoming Marathi film

Actor Ritesh Deshmukh will be starring in director Nishikanth Kamal's upcoming Marathi movie "Mauli". The actor will be playing the lead role in the film and will also be producing the film, which is a comedy-thriller. The film is in its initial stages of preparations and will start shooting by the end of December. Ritesh made his Marathi debut with Nishikanth Kamal's 2014 film "Lai Bhaari". 

Nishikant Kamal is also writing a Hindi romantic film at the moment, apart from "Mauli". His last film "Madaari", starring Irrfan Khan received raving reviews from critics and fans. Riteish Deshmukh was recently seen in "Banjo", which included actress Nargis Fakhri and was directed by Ravi Jadhav.
