Keira Knightley’s Misbehaviour!
Actor Keira Knightley is set to star in the Comedy-Drama Misbehaviour, which is based on the real life story of Miss World 1970. The film, which is produced by Left Blank Pictures and Pathe is being directed by Philippa Lowthorpe. The film also stars Black Mirror actor Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Wild Rose star Jessie Buckley. The film is set in London, 1970 where the Miss World Competition was taking place. Back then, the competition was widely watched, and it brought in over 100 million viewers. The Women's Liberation Movement crashed the stage during the competition, and interrupted the scheduled broadcast, as they claimed the competition demeaned women. The result of the competition then caused massive uproar as a black woman, Miss Grenada won the competition for the first time. This turned the Western concept for beauty on its head.
