La La Land to be Released on December 9

Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling starrer "La La Land" will release in limited theatres on December 9. Director Damien Chazelle's romantic-drama's wide release date however, remains on December 16. The film received critical acclamation and stole the spotlight at many film festivals that include Venice Film Festival, Toronto Film Festival and Telluride Film Festival. In the process, Emma Stone bagged the Best Actress Award for her role as actress/playwright Mia at Venice Film Festival. The story is about a couple, struggling pianist Sebastian and actress Mia, whose relationship goes downhill as their careers bloom. The film also stars J.K. Simmons, who previously worked with Damien Chazelle in the 2004 film "Whiplash".
