Forest Whitaker Joins “Black Panther”
Actor Forest Whitaker has joined the cast of Marvel's "Black Panther", which will have him playing the role of Zuri, an elder stateman in Wakanda. The movie will have Chadwick Boseman reprising his role as Black Panther. Also starring in the film are actors Daniel Kaluuya, Florence Kasumba, Michael B. Jordan, and Danai Gurira. The film will be directed by Ryan Coogler, who is popular for his film "Creed". Co-writing the script with Coogler is Joe Robert Cole.
Whitaker was last seen in boxing film "Southpaw", starring Jake Gyllenhaal. The actor has a busy schedule ahead with movies such as "Arrival", starring Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner, and "Star Wars: Rogue One" to be released in fall.
