Afsana Mimi with the Kids

The scope to specialize in children's programs is dwindling. Children's films are close to nonexistent, but who does not like making shows for kids? Actress and director Afsana Mimi is no different and she was last seen on TV on a liberation war based show for children. As part of ETV's celebration of Victory Day, "Kochikacha'r 71" was hosted by Afsana Mimi. Shooting for the show took place on December 11th and 13th and the 20 minute show was aired on the evening of Victory Day, 16th December. The program was geared towards providing children with the correct history about the liberation war by taking them to the various monuments symbolizing the nation's struggle.
