Prize distribution ceremony held at WUB

World University of Bangladesh (WUB) organised a prize distribution ceremony for their Essay Writing Competition (college level) as a mark of remembrance of the Golden Jubilee of Victorious Bangladesh: Prospects and Possibilities, and also WUB International Online Cheese Competition 2022 on August 29. 

The winners received 50,000 taka, 30,000 taka, and 15,000 taka for first, second, and third positions respectively, as well as crests and certificates for the essay competition. Winners of the chess competition received medals and certificates.  

Renowned writer, playwright, novelist and former senior secretary member of the Planning Commission and Comptroller & Auditor General of Bangladesh Masud Ahmed distributed the prizes to the winners as the Chief Guest. WUB VC Prof. Dr Abdul Mannan Choudhury chaired the event. Pro-VC Prof. Dr M. Nurul Islam and WUB Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury were present as special guests. Registrar, Proctor, Controller of Examinations, guardians of the participants, and principals of different colleges were also present in this program.
