Nepalese students visit JU in youth exchange programme
On October 20, 2022, a team of 30 students and faculty members of Department of Psychology, Padma Kannya Multiple Campus, Tribhuvan University paid a visit to Jahangirnagar University (JU), Dhaka. As part of their seven day study tour, the tour of JU had been organised by Department of Archaeology under direct supervision of Dr. Jayanta Singha Roy, Chairman, Department Of Archaeology and Dr. Mozammel Haque, Dean, Faculty of Arts and Humanities. In this tour the youth exchange team gathered knowledge about the academic excellence and lifestyle of the only residential university of Bangladesh.
In the seminar arranged by the Department of Archaeology following the reception of delegates, the students and faculty members of both the countries exchanged their views about their academic activities. The tour of Bangladesh for these young Nepalese was scheduled from October 14 to 21. In this short period, they have visited Dhaka University, Comilla University, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka, and Cox's Bazar. They learned about Bangladesh's beauty and educational aspects.
On the last day of their tour under supervision of Associate Professor Shikdar MD Zulkernine, Student Advisor and Associate Professor Sabikun Nahar, Department of Archaeology, the young and energetic students of JU tried their level best to make this tour a memorable one for the Nepalese students.
