Moshal Mental Health celebrates second anniversary
Moshal Mental Health is hosting its 2nd-anniversary celebratory event, '2 Years of Journey to Light', on February 7. The event will start with a 'moshal' being lit up as a symbol for spreading light to the mental health sector.
The organisation's founder Maria Mumu will then deliver a speech. Singer and artist Tasfia Fatima will then perform her song 'Alo', which deals with relevant subject matter. Afterwards, members of Team Moshal will take oaths to renew their commitment to working in the mental health sector.
Planetary Health Academia director Dr B M Atiquzzaman will deliver a speech. Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni and DNCC Mayor MD Atiqul Islam will deliver the final speeches of the night as the chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Moshal Mental Health is the first and youngest mental health organisation to receive the Diana Award. The organisation strives to make mental healthcare accessible, affordable, and effective to all; both nationally and internationally. Within a month of its establishment, Moshal had the honour of receiving recognition from our Honourable Prime Minister.
With a team of diverse, industry-leading experts, the organisation has aided over 1000 people thus far and hosted over 12 awareness campaigns.
