Shakib, Tamim in World XI

Bangladesh all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and batsman Tamim Iqbal have been selected for the Rest of the World XI for a friendly match against Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC).

The match will take place at England’s Lord’s cricket ground on the occasion of the venue’s bicentenary anniversary on June 22, reports Bangla daily Prothom Alo quoting Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) sources.

In his immediate reaction, Tamim described the selection as the biggest achievement of his career.
