DB police shot by miscreants

Miscreants shot a sub-inspector of Detective Branch of Police when he was interrogating them at Motijheel in the city on Monday.

SI Habibur Rahman was admitted to Rajarbagh Police Hospital with bullet wound in his leg.

The incident took place at about 10:45 pm Monday when Habibur Rahman along with his colleagues was checking vehicles in front of Amin Court.

None could be arrested as yet, the DC, DB, A Hannan Khan said, "none could be arrested as yet".

Sergeant Ahad Parvez was beaten to death near the same spot on October 28 last year.
