Justice Kamrul Islam Siddiqui passes away

Justice Kamrul Islam Siddiqui, a former judge of the High Court division, passed away at Dhaka's Ibne Sina Hospital yesterday, aged 68. He was suffering from cancer.

His namaj-e-janaza was held on the Supreme Court premises after Zuhr prayers. Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain, judges from Appellate and High Court divisions, Supreme Court Registrar General Dr Md Zakir Hossain and Attorney General Mahbubey Alam, among others, attended his namaz-e-janaza.

He will be buried at his village Dargahpur in Satkhira.
