President accepts resignations of 10 DAGs

President Mohammed Shahabuddin has accepted the resignations of 10 deputy attorneys general (DAGs) who stepped down in recent months.

The solicitor wing under the law ministry issued a gazette in this regard on July 20.

The 10 DAGs are AKM Rezaul Karim Khondkar, Muhammad Mujibur Rahman, Badiuzzaman Topadar, Yusuf Ali, Farid Uddin Khan, Muhammad Tarikul Islam, Muhammad Abdul Karim, Mohammad Shafikur Rahman, Asad Uddin, and Golam Rahman Bhuiyan.

Rezaul resigned on April 4, Mujibur on May 20, and Badiuzzaman on June 2, while the remaining seven resigned on June 23.

According to the gazette notification, the president formally accepted their resignations, which took effect from the dates on which they were submitted.
