China, Japan, Indonesia and France envoys visit Bhasan Char

Ambassadors of four countries, China, Japan, Indonesia and France, visited Bhasan Char Rohingya camps in Noakhali's Hatiya upazila this morning.
Japan Ambassador Iwama Kiminori, China Ambassador Yao Wen, France Ambassador Marie Masdupuy and Indonesia Ambassador Heru Hartanto Subolo accompanied by members of different international agencies reached the area on a helicopter around 10:30am.
The officer-in-charge of Bhasan Char Police Station Humayun Kabir said they talked to Rohingyas about their accommodation, facilities and living standards.

They also monitored the situation in Bhasan Char for four hours starting from 11:00am, our Noakhali correspondent reports quoting the OC.
They also inspected Rohingya people's residences, learning centers, and the 20-bed hospital in Bhasan Char.
A meeting was held at the multipurpose complex with the in-charges of different camps in the area.
They left Bhasan Char for Dhaka around 3:30pm, said the OC.
