50 SPs, 24 addl SPs transferred

A total of 50 officers holding the rank of superintendent of police and 24 officers of the rank of additional superintendent of police have been transferred.

The transfers were made today in three notifications issued by the Police-1 branch of the Public Security Division under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Deputy Secretary Mahbubur Rahman signed the notifications on the order of the president.

One notification included the transfer of 19 SPs, another listed 31 SPs, and the third covered 24 additional SPs.

The officers have been reassigned to various units, including the Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Police Headquarters, Criminal Investigation Department, Special Branch, Rapid Action Battalion, Chattogram Metropolitan Police, Police Bureau of Investigation, Armed Police Battalion, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police, Sylhet Metropolitan Police, and Barishal Metropolitan Police.
