Actor Khaled Khan in hospital

Noted actor Khaled Khan has been on ventilator support in an unconscious state as of 1:00am today after being admitted to the intensive care unit of Birdem Hospital in the capital in critical condition last evening.
Feeling unwell since Friday, the 55-year-old went to a doctor for a regular check up around 6:30pm yesterday. But his condition deteriorated, prompting his family to rush him to Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute and then to Birdem.
Khaled has been suffering from progressive motor neurone disease for the last 12 years which has left the lower part of his body paralysed.
He gained popularity both on the small screen and on theatre for his bold and lively performance in numerous plays.
