Drama serial "Ghotok Ebong Amra" will be aired tonight on Ekushey TV at 9:30 pm. Written By Shubarno Saiful and directed by Debashish Barua, the serial centres on a rural 'ghotok' (match-maker).
Moti Miah, a matchmaker, tries to negotiate a marriage between Bokul and Farzana, living in neighbouring villages. Together, Moti and Bokul go to Farzana's village. But Farzana is in love with someone else. With the help of her younger sister, Farzana harasses and humiliates the would-be groom. Sensing imminent danger, Moti Miah runs away. Similar hilarious incidents are the highlight of this serial.
Fazlur Rahman Babu plays Moti Miah. Tania Ahmed, Tisha, Masum Aziz, AKM Hasan, Pran Roy and Shashi play other central roles.
